Because of its proximity to the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, Hotel Turixant is the perfect starting point for hikes and cycling tours. The next important event on the annual calendar is the Sant Joan festival on 24 June (St. John's day).

Close to Mancor de Valle is the beautiful town of Inca, where you will find numerous sightseeing opportunities, such as the baroque church Santa Maria la Major d’Inca, or the Dominican monastery. A visit to the charming coastal villages in the west of Serra de Tramuntana should not be missed: Deià and Valldemossa are picture-perfect. Another cultural highlight is the monastery Santuari de Lluc right in the heart of the mountains. Additionally, the island’s capital Palma de Mallorca is only a 35-minute car drive away and has some impressive sights, like the famous cathedral, internationally-renowned museums, a diverse selection of theatres and concerts, a huge gastronomic landscape and excellent shopping opportunities.
